Ferret WorkLite is shatterproof, waterproof – even technician-proof
CHEBOYGAN, Michigan – Ferret Instruments’ new WorkLite features a virtually indestructible lighting element that can be dropped, banged and even submerged in water and still keep shining. The WorkLite, backed by an unprecedented 5-year lighting element warranty, is set to rollout nationwide mid-January through Matco Tools.
The WorkLite comes in two models: an AC
version that uses standard 110 current and a DC version with cigarette lighter and auto battery adapter. More models are under development to extend the WorkLite product line.
“The WorkLite is shatterproof, waterproof and even technician-proof,” says Ferret Instruments Vice President of Marketing, Donald Russell. “You can smack this light on an engine block and it will stay lit. I don’t know of any other worklight that guarantees the lighting element for 5 years.”
Another benefit of the WorkLite is its small size and light weight. The light measures about 1-inch in diameter and weighs about 6 ounces -- allowing it to fit virtually anywhere.
